Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator

Great opportunity to join expanding business as a Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator.

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working in a small team to manage the purchasing and logistics process for standard and customer specific items.

Duties will include managing supplier and customer relationships, ordering process and negotiation. Managing the forecasting process. Generating weekly and monthly reports for stock maintenance. Ensure all suppliers are aware of and comply to ethical supply chain and employment standards. Reviewing all products and consumables on a regular basis to ensure they are as environmentally sustainable as possible. Prioritise and maximise cost effective shipments and consolidations. Liaise with the QA Manager as required to report on delivery issues.

The successful applicant will have previous purchasing and logistics experience.
