Logistics Manager required to join established and successful business in Brighton, East Sussex. The successful candidate will have experience with freight forwarding, knowledge of letters of credit, international shipping and both air / sea freight.
Managing the logistics team in order monitoring, raising documentation and order dispatch using the modes of shipment of sea freight, airfreight and courier. To handle and monitor more complex shipments, providing support to the team.
The role requires strong management skills including planning and organising, working to tight deadlines and attention to detail. The successful candidate will need good communication skills as suppliers and customers come from many cultures and English may not be their first language. An ability to speak French would be an advantage.
Salary c £40k pa.
