Buying Manager

Buying Manager required for business in Brighton. Salary £45k - £50k pa plus benefits.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will effectively manage a team to deliver the supply needs for the business.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing a buying team with procurement experience working with systems, strong analytical, organisational and negotiation skills, providing leadership and development to the buying team.

Duties will include improving stock integrity through improved data and reporting, working alongside the marketing department to improve accuracy of stock allocations and follow up management to support promotional campaigns, rationalise slow selling stock lines, develop structured meetings with suppliers ensuring all agreed actions are followed up, maximise profitability through negotiation and provide excellent communications with all key stake holders.
